Jackie hails from Sunny California and doesn’t miss it (‘cept for the Sunny part.) In order to pursue a career in film, Jackie moved to New York in 2006 to enroll in the Digital Film Academy. She has worked with producers at Leopard Films as an R&D assistant, helping with the development of shows like “The Club” and “Hidden Potential”. At Leftfield Pictures Jackie worked as an assistant editor on many television series, including Oddities, a Science Channel favorite.
The experience she gained in New York allowed her to pursue projects on her own. Jackie edited the 2008 short film “Elle and Guy”, an Accolade Global Film Competition, Award of Merit Winner. She has also traveled with film crews across the United States as a Media Manager and PA. In April 2015 she had the privilege of being one part of a two person film crew that traveled to Cambodia to film a documentary about a group of young Chicago activists.
Jackie’s main focus has been on editing and over the past ten years she has had the pleasure of working with many talented filmmakers and production companies. Her portfolio includes television series, music videos, short films, web series, and much more. Currently, she is living and freelancing as an Editor in Chicago. Working with companies like mcgarrybowen, Havas, Onion Labs, Coin-Operated Films, Captain Studios, and Free Spirit Media.
Jackie thanks you in advance for coming to her site and asks that you please excuse the mess as it undergoes continual renovation.
